Doris Davis 1919-2018


Funeral services for Doris Ola Davis, 98, of Wills Point, were held Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Russell Harris officiating.

Interment followed at White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point. She passed away early Friday morning, Feb. 9, 2018, in Wills Point.
She was born on Nov. 19, 1919, in Wills Point, the daughter of Robert Enoch Eskue and Eliza Jane Sprague Eskue.

She was a lifelong resident of Wills Point, where she attended public school and later beauty school. On Nov. 23, 1942, she married Ralph Edward Davis in San Diego, Calif.

She was a self-employed beautician at Doris Beauty Shop and Eddith’s Beauty Shop, both in Wills Point, retiring in 1984.

In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, sewing and cooking. She was a member of the Wills Point Church of Christ.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Robert and Eliza Jane Eskue; husband, Ralph Davis; two brothers, Clifton “Son” Eskue and Robert E. Eskue, Jr.; and three sisters, Maurine Wilson, Eddith Ballenger, and Merle Ussery.
She is survived by two sons, Danny Davis and wife, Sue, of Wills Point and Mike Davis and wife, Karin, of Wills Point; six grandchildren, Michelle Foster and husband, Doug, Clint Davis and wife, Patricia Lindberg, Libbey Mouttet and husband, Christopher, Abby Galloway and husband, Joe, Kristi Wiggins and husband, Roby and Heather Alexander and husband, Kevin; 11 great-grandchildren, Kyle and Jake Foster, Emma, Hudson and Bellami Mouttet, Rhee and Rian Wiggins, Justin, Megan and Lauren Bennett and Cody Alexander; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Pallbearers were Kyle Foster, Jake Foster, Doug Foster, Joe Galloway, Chris Mouttet, and Chris Eskue.
