WPISD Education Foundation receives lead donation

The Wills Point ISD Education Foundation is excited to announce Oncor, as their first lead gift donor for the Founders Campaign. Cindy Tayem, Oncor Area Manager was on hand with some of the Wills Point ISD Education Foundation Executive Committee members to celebrate the donation. The Founders Campaign is a unique opportunity to be recognized in the community as a supporter of the Wills Point Independent School District and the Wills Point ISD Education Foundation. Our Founding Year Lead Gift donors will be recognized with a permanent memorial that will be unveiled in our second year of operation.

"Your donation will benefit your children and all students in the Wills Point ISD by funding innovative classroom programs to enhance learning and student engagement," stated Debbie Dean, President of the Foundation Board of Directors. "We intend to support academic achievement through teacher grants, dual credit opportunities for students as well as a variety of educational projects that otherwise would not exist without your generous gift.”

As a lead gift donor individuals and businesses in the community will be able to see their investment at work quickly, because the first round of classroom grants will be awarded in February 2018. Founding donors will become partners of the Education Foundation and WPISD all working together to achieve academic success and strives for excellence. Investing in our schools and in our children, is what makes Wills Point an attractive place to live, work and attend school. Become a Founding Partner today!
