It has become easy to sound like a broken record when talking about the Wills Point Tiger tennis program: week after week, season after season, the program consistently produces winning players and teams.
That trend has continued into another spring tennis season for Wills Point, with the team defeating Whitehouse Jan. 12, Rockwall Jan. 19 and Jacksonville Jan. 23.
Scores against Rockwall included:
-Cassidy Wilcoxson def. Katie Scroeter, 6-0, 6-0; def. Emily Blaze, 8-1
-Maddie Hiler lost to Sophia Vela, 4-6, 0-6; def. Jane Doe, 8-4
-Jack Johns def. Cody O'Donnell, 6-4, 6-0; lost to McKnight, 1-8
-Aidan Phillips lost to Michael Rodriguez, 4-6, 6-0, 5-10
-Adams/Hatten lost to McKnight/Brown, 5-7, 4-6; lost to Amin/Hill, 7-9
-Booth/Hiler def. Consolman/Blaze, 6-3, 6-1; def. Consolman/Hogan, 8-6
