Patricia Ann Grady Donihoo, 75, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2019. Her gentleness, good humor, and resolve never wavered and have remained of great comfort to those who mourn her.

She was born in Dallas on June 8, 1943, to Mark Ray and Edna Imogene (Cauley) Grady. A devoted daughter, wife, and grandmother, she treasured simple pleasures and was happiest when surrounded by her family, for whom she sacrificed greatly for.

She grew up in Irving, where she attended Irving High School, and later settled in Mesquite, where she and her husband, Bruce Donihoo, raised their children.

The couple relocated to the shores of Lake Tawakoni in 1988, where they lived for the remainder of their lives. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, fishing, and cooking.

She is survived by her brother, Robert Edward Grady of Irving; son, Gary (Rachel) Donihoo of McKinney; grandchildren, Kylee Gannon, Patrick Smith, Brandon Donihoo, Gray Donihoo, and Elizabeth Donihoo; and her great grandchildren, Braydon Donihoo and Everly Gannon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and daughter, Trina Renee Smith. A private memorial will be held later this summer.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Lung Cancer Research Foundation:
