Funeral services for Jesse Epperson, III, 61, of Wills Point, were held Friday, July 29, 2022, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point. Burial followed at Small Cemetery.
Jesse passed away July 24, 2022, at his home.
Jesse Henry Epperson, III was born on October 27, 1960, in Yazoo City, Mississippi, to parents Jesse H. Epperson, Jr. and Mildred Ann Bowie Epperson. He was raised in Mississippi and later moved to Dallas, in 1973, with his family. Jesse graduated from Lake Highlands High School. He owned and operated Silverado Repair Services in Haltom City for over 30 years. Jessed worked for Sherwin Williams for 12 ½ years and was most recently employed by Centerline Supply as an outside salesman. Jesse was very dedicated to his work, his family, and friends. He never met a stranger and was always looking to help people and to make them laugh. Jesse was a gentle giant and was very giving. He loved animals and enjoyed cooking on the grill outside. Jesse adored his family, friends and was loved by everyone who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jesse Henry Epperson, Jr.
Jesse is survived by his mother, Mildred Ann Epperson of Edgewood; son, Jesse Epperson, IV of Wills Point; daughter, Janelle Epperson of Wichita Falls; brother, Eric Epperson and wife, Tracy of Forney; sister, Dianne Epperson of Plano; grandchildren: Jaxson, Justice, and Karisa Schultz.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home.
