Tommy was a man of faith who loved the Lord and was knowledgeable in conversing the word. After graduating from high school, Tommy attended Henderson County Junior College and East Texas State University. During these years he forged lifelong friendships. His passion for Hereford cattle started in 1957, and until his passing, Tommy continued to support the growth of the breed that he loved. He also had a special love for border collies and raising quality hay. This was reflected in his love for animals and the land.
