Three Injured In Two Vehicle Crash

A major accident on Hunt County Road 3604 was reported by a passing citizen Sunday.

The accident occurred at 5:58 p.m. A pickup and a passenger car collided head-on in a curve on the county road located by Tommy G’s Welding on State Highway 34.

Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper William Yanish said, "A green Ford Focus driven by Tanya Uzzel, age 31 of Terrell, with four passengers was northbound on CR 3604 and was approaching a curve.

"A gray Dodge Ram pickup driven by Jason Steven Zimmerle, 33 of West Tawakoni, was southbound on the same roadway. The vehicles collided left front to left front," Yanish said.

Three passengers were taken to area hospitals by two American Response ambulances, two to Terrell Community Hospital and one to Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville.

The roadway was totally blocked by responding emergency vehicles until the roadway was cleared by Lone Oak Wrecker and the last Quinlan Volunteer Fire Department engine left the scene at 7:55 p.m.
