Services for Doyle Lynn Moseley, 79, Van, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 14, at Hilliard Funeral Home Chapel, Van, with Rev. Mike Calhoun officiating.
Burial was in Haven of Memories Memorial Park, Canton.
Mr. Moseley died November 12, 2008, at his residence.
He was born July 19, 1929 in Ben Wheeler to William "Bud" and Floy Alvie "Pitt" Moseley. He graduated from Van High School in 1947 and was a Corporal in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked for Missouri Telephone Company, G.E. Plant and for 30 years for Unocal Pipeline Company. He was a member of Van First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Marvis Moseley.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, LaJuan Moseley, Van; sons and daughters-in-law, Brad and Ruth Moseley, Sunnyvale, and Scott and Tressia Moseley, Van; daughter and son-in-law, Leslee and Keith Ranly, Sugar Land; brothers, Billy Moseley and Marshall Moseley; sister, Madeline Shafer; and grandchildren, Justin Moseley, Colton Moseley, Dylan Moseley, Garrett Moseley, Grace Moseley, Hunter Ranly and Abigail Ranly.

Visitation was from 1 to 2 p.m. immediately before the service Friday, November 14, at the funeral home.
