Services for Riley Pass, 75, Canton, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 24, at Eubank Funeral Home Chapel, Canton, with Rev. Ronnie Daniell officiating.
Burial was in Bright Star Cemetery, Wills Point.
Mr. Pass died August 20, 2008, in Tyler.
He was born March 9, 1933 in Sunbright, Tenn., to Cam Riley and Lessie Irene Laymance Pass. He was of Baptist faith. He served in the U.S. Army for three years during the Korean Conflict. He moved to Garland in 1961 and to Canton in 1970. He was a truck driver for US Brass until retirement in 1993.
He was preceded in death by son, Barry Wayne Pass; grandson, Eddie Landon Pass; his parents; and brothers, Kenneth and Darrell Pass.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Viola Pass, Canton; son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Paula Pass, Van; daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and DeWayne Wilburn, Canton, and Rhonda and Dev Joplin, Kaufman; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Cloud and Loretta Burchet, both of Junction City, Ky.; and brothers, Harry Pass and Donald Pass, both of Junction City, Robert Pass and Ronnie Pass, both of Lancaster, Ky., and Jerry Pass, Lexington, Ky.
Pallbearers included David Wilburn, Kyle Wilburn, Justin Pass, Justin Langley, Bodie Mills and Terry Brown.
